Todays star bird has been an Osprey over Loch Gruinart. Although its the number of passerines on the barley fields that are causing remark. Bob reported up to 200 House Sparrows near Port Charlotte and loads of rooks, jackdaws and ravens as well as 3 Golden Eagles drifting over during the day. At Gruinart there has been on flock of 40 twite and another flock of 85 twite, 37 linnets and 22 greenfinches. There has also been a report of a ruff at Ardnave.
