Sorry folks, forgot to put an entry on last night, an age thing honest... Rob Lucking who was over on holiday had seen a Knot with colour rings on, down on the Strand beside the airport on Friday, and received through the data on it today. It was originally rung on the island of Simonszand which is off the coast of Holland on the 25th August 2006, and this is the first time time it has been seen since. Nick Wilkinson who is over working here on Islay had 12 Black tailed Godwits, 1 Whimbrel, 28 Knot, 108 Oystercatcher and 36 Curlew this morning on Loch Gruinart.
