Last night when James was walking his dog, he had a Barn Owl out hunting. This morning he had a Whimbrel fly over his house on the reserve at Gruinart. Also today, Mary had seen a Merlin twisting and turning, chasing after a lbj down close to Nerabus. Also at Portnahaven, the Twite and Linnet flocks are starting to gather in size. Next thing I will be writing about is that the days are starting to draw in, well "show day" is now past, so winter can't be that far off.....
