I was speaking with visitors to Islay this afternoon who told me that they had seen a Curlew Sandpiper down at "smelly corner" yesterday. Today they had seen a couple of Hen Harriers while they were out and about. Bob today had seen 9 Wigeon on Loch Indaal just below the generating station as you enter Bowmore from Bridgend. This afternoon, just after "smelly corner" and almost at the entrance to Whin Park, we saw an Osprey carrying a fish torpedo style, flying over the head of Loch Indaal, wonder if this was the same Osprey that Eddie Brown saw over Carnduncan last week?
