Sun 13th April

The man from Morven returns, JRH that is, and while coming into Port Ellen last night, he had the Iceland Gull from the ferry. This morning on his way over to visit us here, a Yellowhammer was seen.
Susan was taking her walk today, for walkislay, down the River Laggan and they saw 2 separate sightings of Hen Harrier, a female and later on a male. Just below Laggan Bridge on the High Road they had 7 Sand Martin out on the wing. After her walk Susan saw, a male Hen Harrier giving some Gulls a good chase.
Back here at home, there was a Willow Warbler in the garden this morning, while last night when coming back from DJ's around 6pm there was a Buzzard being harassed by a Peregrine.
