Sat 19th April

An image taken by Michal, over on the Flats at Gruinart of a Lapwing sitting on eggs with a few of the remaining Barnacle Geese that were still here yesterday morning.
I heard today, of Chough taking food into a nest site, a sure indication that young had been hatched.
Perhaps the cold wind from the East has dropped, but the main thrust of migrants in numbers has still yet to happen.
