Catherine had 3 Black tailed Godwits from the hide at RSPB Loch Gruinart, as well as a single Greenshank, several Pintail along with Shoveler, Wigeon and Teal. Last week, when she was up on Egilsay in the Orkneys, she had 22 Snow Bunting and 15 Purple Sandpiper. Signs of Spring on Egilsay included Fulmar on their nest, Snipe drumming, Lapwing displaying and also Black headed Gulls starting to nest. CF
