On our way over to Gruinart last night, we saw a small flock of around 25- 30 Golden Plover at Coull. James on his way home after Bird nerds, had a Corncrake walk across the track leading to Grainel! This morning, there were 5 Swallows here in a fly past, they certainly did not stay long! There was also a Sparrowhawk up towards Shepherds cottage a wee while later on. Carl had 8 Comic Terns fly past Bruichladdich this morning. This evening there was a Sparrowhawk at Coull and a ringtail Hen Harrier there too and at Ballinaby a couple of Buzzards were out flying about.
