Yesterday George had seen 3 Goldeneye and a Little Grebe in Bowmore Harbour. Today, he had seen a male Hen Harrier up behind his house at Bruichladdich, the first there for some time. This morning, down at Sunderland there were 2 Pink footed Geese amongst the Barnies and here at home this afternoon there were 52 Greylags and 10 Barnies in the field down beside the garden, I have not seen them that close to the house previously. In Bowmore this morning, there was a small flock of over 50 Barnies on the football pitch beside the primary school, wonder if Barnies have been seen so close to the school as that before??
