A fantastic sunset over here this evening, so all going well, a better day tomorrow..... David Wood has sent through some sightings from The Oa today. On Loch Kinnabus there were a pair of Goldeneye along with 190 Greenland Whitefronts. Also seen were 1 Merlin, 2 Sparrowhawk, 3 Goldfinches, and smaller numbers of Blackbirds, Redwings and Fieldfares on the move through. This morning down at Blackrock on Loch Indaal, 47 Pale bellied Brents were present, around 80 Scaup were seen further on and coming home there were 2 Peregrines sitting on the crag just before Rock Mountain while there was a large flock of Barnacle Geese at Sunderland, and I was not up to counting them!
