James today had a count of the Barnacle Geese on the reserve at Gruinart, as expected there are more arrivals with the total now up to 16, but with the weather forecast over the next few days not looking great, we might not see many more for a few days. Also on the reserve was 1 Greenshank, 3 Pintail and 3 White Wagtails. When going out for our papers this morning, just before we came to Foreland House , there was a charm of around 30 Goldfinches.
