A hot, sunny, fairly calm day.
Notes today from Martin Armstrong and David D. Martin was birding on the Sorn as it enters Loch Indaal at Bridgend where he watched a Little Egret, a Little Grebe and a presumed family of 4 White-tailed Eagles comprising 2 adults and 2 fledged young. David D. noted another (or the same as a few days ago?) Greenshank at Loch Cornabus.
Billy Stitchell kindly sent in some fine photos to brighten up the blog - taken at Bowmore yesterday of young and migrant birds - I particularly like the Robin in plumage halfway between spotty juvenile and red breasted adult.
