A fairly overcast and cool day with light winds.
Clive McK. found a perched Osprey near Crag Mhor on Gruinart bearing a blue colour ring - not seen close enough to get any more detail, but likely to be a British bird.
I was out with Roger Broad who is visiting for a few days. At Blackrock there was a count of 36 Common Scoter and up at the mouth of the river Sorn at Bridgend was a Kingfisher and a couple of White-tailed Eagles overhead and soaring high with an entourage of 5 accompanying Buzzards.
Billy Stitchell was out with his camera and sent in some great shots of the local birds:
A juvenile Stonechat -
A Reed Bunting -Young Starlings moulting out of their juvenile plumage -
