Karen Graham was in touch with the birds seen by her in her garden yesterday...
This morning an adult GS Woodpecker was on the fat cake and then feeding a youngster sitting onthe willow. The youngster had that light red head feathers which was a subject on BTO email this week end. A first for us as adults in almost daily but never have seen a young one before. Families of blue tits also gathering on willow to be fed by adults. Unfortunately have not good enough camera on phone to get close up. Any movement and the Woodpeckers take off.
