James yesterday had a Spotted Flycatcher as well as 5 Redpolls in his garden at Mill Cottage.
This morning I received an e mail through from Matt Jackson....
"The Corncrake is still calling overnight on calm nights, haven't heard it during
the day for a while and there only seems to have been one calling recently -
for a while in late May there were two calling nearby. After the initial interest, here the House Martins
didn’t come back to the box sadly."
