Tuesday 7th October
What another glorious day it has been, outside in shirt sleeves for a second time in October, not that I am complaining!!
Mary this morning, over on the reserve at Gruinart saw over 4,000 Barnies, along with 113 Pale bellied Brent Geese, a Pinkfoot and a small Canada Goose, not the same goose that James had seen as it was a larger goose! Up on Ardnave Loch, Mary had a Pochard. Around midday, Peter had a count of 40 Common Scoter just off the pier at Bruichladdich. As I write this entry, there is a beautiful sunset outside, here's hoping for another sunny, dry day again tomorrow.
