Sorry folks forgot to post an entry last night, a busy day yesterday and today and the next few days look not much better, as they say, no peace for the wicked! Bob was telling me earlier on that he felt he had been seeing some Whitefronts flying up the Rhinns today from the South. Speaking with Ed and he was saying that his colleague from Wexford in Ireland and his figures were down, so possibly "Bobs' geese" were some of the Wexford Birds... Been a great Spring day out here with the wood full of bird song, out towards the War graves, the Lapwing present were displaying away and this evening the the large flock of Jackdaws was something else as they headed to roost up!
