Almost a repeat of the entry from last night, not a lot of birds been sent through. James has had a Barn Owl roosting up in his outbuildings along with around 200 Starlings, odd they share the same building so readily. Down below us here, towards the Machir Bay, Sandy has had a Barn owl sharing along with a pair of Chough. Have heard of that combination a year or two back at other locations on Islay. Tonight the wind has picked up again, there was a gust of 43mph just before 7 pm on Mike's weather station. The wind did drop down through the night and there was no disruption to the ferries at all, infact quite a good day it should be said, a lot better than I thought it might be!
