The rain eased off and we had some sunshine!
I was working on the reserve (Loch Gruinart) adjusting water levels after the rain. It always gives the opportunity to see a few birds, and today was a real treat: as I was working in a sluice, a juv sea eagle came down and attacked a barnacle goose on the Loch shore. Other birds included 2 greenshank, a sparrowhawk and 7 whooper swans.
