Yes, the Dotterel were still to be seen on the ploughed field round towards Saligo again today, difficult to see, but definitely there! Down at Roockside in one of the barley fields, there were 33 Greylags, no sign of the Pink footed Goose from earlier in the week. Close to Port Charlotte, there was a pair of Greylags proudly showing their brood of 5 goslings. Round at Ballinaby there was a female Hen Harrier out quartering and back at home a Golden Eagle was out over the crag, mid afternoon. Possibly the same bird was seen by one of the RAFOS team who saw one at Rockside around the same time.
