Another mostly sunny day with a stronger SE wind.
The Black Tern continues its residency in the same easterly area of Loch Gorm, but still no photograph. Mary R. reported 3 Wheatears at Claddach Loch, along with a few reed buntings, stonechats, meadow pipits, and skylarks. Earlier on, she had a Sparrowhawk by the house. The only other observation came from Dave W. of a flock of 42 Twite, the first gathering of the autumn, by the RSPB's carpark on The Oa.
