Her birds were as follows... 68 Ringed PLover, 8 Blackwits, 70 Dunlin, 172 Greylags, 16 Oystercatcher, 32 Shag, 2 Cormorant, 1 Eider, 1 Mallard, 3 Redshank, 5 Snipe, 24 Curlew, 2 Grey Heron, 2 Mute Swan, 4 B H Gull, 5 Common Gull, 8 G bb Gull, 7 L bb Gull and also 36 Herring Gull.
I read with interest that the fund raising is going on, not too badly for the new Fair Isle Bird Obs, and has now reached just short of £79k, only another £571K to go, but a lot more raised in just over a week since the funding was set up, so keep it going, that is the donating that I am referring to...
