I was speaking to James this morning, and he told me that he had seen a Swallow on the reserve at Gruinart yesterday. Also on the floods at Gruinart, he had seen 2 Green winged Teal, but sad to say it was 2 drakes rather than a male and female...
The Horwich birders had a Chiffchaff in their garden earlier on today, so perhaps Spring is not that far away!!!
