Some sightings from yesterday sent in by Mark. up at Ardnave he had seen 14 Arctic Tern, 2 Little Tern, 52 Dunlin, a Common Sandpiper, 62 Greylag and 9 Gbb Gull.
Today, the Bolton birders had been up at Ardnave where their birds seen included 12 Bar tailed Godwit, 12 Sanderling and 12 Dunlin. Here at home, I have had a day of pottering around, mainly a day with the paint brush, it was just the right temperature for me, not to hot along with a bit of a breeze to keep the dreaded midge away... This evening, Distillery Dave and young Ted came round and gave us a hand doing some remedial work, many hands male light work, much appreciated Dave (and Ted!)... Later on when outside the noisy, nosey neighbours, the Chough flew past on their way to the roost.
