Saturday 7th July
After a couple of busy couple of days setting the mist nets and ringing, Gorge and Pat took a well earned rest.. Earlier on this evening, I counted a group of 30 Curlew fly past our house.
For those of you who may be over visiting on either Islay or on Jura, send us in your sightings if you wish.
You can send them in to ianbrooke14@hotmail.com and these will be used, for everyone to share, or you may wish to get in touch by phone, contact Ian on 01496 850 303!
Many thanks.
There is a small informal "Bird" club here on Islay, and we normally hold our meeting on the last Tuesday of every month, contact Ian for the venue and time, visiting birders are welcome.
