Thursday 12th May

A bit of an early entry  tonight as I am away out shortly to a talk by Jane Reid on Choughs... Yesterday, Peter saw the Hawfinch down in Tony and Irene Miller's garden. Also yesterday, Peter and Janet had seen 3 drake and a female Gadwall at Gruinart. Down at Frenchman's Rocks a Fulmar and 11 Whimbrel were seen. Today down on the Oa, Dave had 3 Whitethroats and also 2 Redpolls. Back on Tuesday, he had 5 Spotted Flycatcher around the Oa, as well as the Little Ringed Plover. James had a Merlin and a Little Tern up at Ardnave, today.
